Who is IGC Resources?

IGC Resources is a dedicated mineral explorer focused on gold and copper with a substantial investment in ASX listed Atomic Resources Limited; a solid energy company in Australia. The company has a philosophy of exploring for intrusive, porphyry or IOCG related mineralisation styles where all three minerals may be encountered, and the probability of discovering a deposit of significant size is high, however the Directors recognize the value of investments in other commodities especially the coal and uranium energy markets.

To date the company has selectively targeted areas of Western Australia where either a strong conceptual model is present, or historical results indicate the presence of mineralisation. It has added to its portfolio an opportunity to explore for copper and gold in Zambia subject to final due diligence by technical experts.

The company has three core projects at various stages of development from strong conceptual target generation, through to inferred gold resources and has included in the package of concessions a gold platinum palladium project in Ontario, Canada.

Recently in the company’s history there has been a move towards a predominantly West Australian focus as the company’s management has had significant experience and exploration success in the region previously and the opportunity to secure large tenement holdings is good. This is now expanding into Africa.

The company is driven by the desire to maximize shareholder wealth through exploration success and is constantly assessing other opportunities and mineral investments globally which may fit within the company’s exploration strategy.
